Some of the crew went "up the road".
They came back soon. The biggest intake of breath ever when we mentioned prices. Lol

I didn't even get to go anywhere, even if loaded, as work on the Main Engine needed, plus id joost joined.

I was one of 4 Cadets BTW (2 deck n 2 engineer) , we are all in TIL when said F. O came bouncing in..

"We've got new orders. There's going to be a dry Dock in Shanghai, China. Alloted time is 16 days.

Lots of us were dead happy, the crew too.
However, we had no beer,  🤨. This wasn't a concern to the jakie's(alcoholics) though as we had that there Whisky.

I'll stick to Gin at stupidly cheap prices. Like less than 2 quid a bottle.

I voiced my contempt for Ma National Drink. Took the Alkies longer to like Keef after that! Haha

The. Stinky Pinky.

I've just lost my left pinky finger after an infection, that required it to be amputated. In the period of five days, it started to desheath its skin, drip puss, smell bad, and scare the weans. This cocci infection( new to me too) knocked ten bells out of me. I've only just stopped the oral Anti Biotics, meaning this blog could happen. While being eternally thankful for our NHS, I sussed how under pressure the staff there, are. I am now really thankful that it wasn't my thumb! There is now a proof that the pinkyless one wrote this.
